About Ella Boughton

Ella Boughton I am Ella Boughton and I am a Russian. I grew up in a very culturally diverse household, which led me to be exposed to traditional Russian art, so my work is a blend of Modern imagery with a classic and expressionist style, also I like working with illustration and graphic design. I came to America four and half years ago, when I married my American husband. While in Russia I worked in the world of finance. Not knowing the language, it was difficult to realize myself in a foreign country. I began to learn English in a community Southwestern College, but I was bored and I added art classes to my schedule. I enjoy art with a passion, and what you see is my work after two years of art class. I am passionate in my quest expand my art skills. This passion brings together my Russian Heritage with my American Experience to create pictures and design objects, with emotion that people will enjoy. I like working with different types of media; color pencils, pastels, charcoal, oil and acrylic paint and digital programs.
