Sunset on Imperial beach.
My tradition is to walk on Imperial beach for a sunset.

I like to watch when sun goes down beyond the horizon line, and the color of the ocean changes from green to dark blue with a purple tint. everything around takes on purple shadows. The sun glares shimmer on the wet sand, and clouds reflected on the water puddle. This evening performance is so gorgeous and never like the previous ones.

I am Ella Boughton and I am a Russian. I grew up in a very culturally diverse household, which led me to be exposed to traditional Russian art, so my work is a blend of Modern imagery with a classic and expressionist style, also I like working with illustration and graphic design. I came to America four and half years ago, when I married my American husband. While in Russia I worked in the world of finance. Not knowing the language, it was difficult to realize myself in a foreign country. I began to learn English in a community Southwestern College, but I was bored and I added art classes to my schedule. I enjoy art with a passion, and what you see is my work after two years of art class. I am passionate in my quest expand my art skills....
