I finished my painting of Hmong kids. It’s was challenge to me with painting beautiful landscape of mountains Sapa on the North of Vietnam. I never did it before. The real story from when I been in Vietnam where little ethnic group Hmong live on the rice terrases. Small children was running around city along and tried to sold the hmongs souvenirs. Small girl carried her baby-brother. Her eyes did’t happy because he cried, and she wad responsible for him. No parents around , only pack of barefoot peers. Cute and adorable kids, but girl’s sad eyes remained in my memory forever.
I am Ella Boughton and I am a Russian. I grew up in a very culturally diverse household, which led me to be exposed to traditional Russian art, so my work is a blend of Modern imagery with a classic and expressionist style, also I like working with illustration and graphic design. I came to America four and half years ago, when I married my American husband. While in Russia I worked in the world of finance. Not knowing the language, it was difficult to realize myself in a foreign country. I began to learn English in a community Southwestern College, but I was bored and I added art classes to my schedule. I enjoy art with a passion, and what you see is my work after two years of art class. I am passionate in my quest expand my art skills....
