The Pacific Ophelia

The pollution of ocean is a very big problem. Today we use plastic for everything. We as consumers use plastic pack but we do not think about what happens with the plastic when we put it in our trash. Tons and tons plastic trash can be found in the ocean. It is disastrous for nature and it kills the ocean’s flora and fauna. I drew a picture because I want to bring to your attention to this terrible situation.

I am Ella Boughton and I am a Russian. I grew up in a very culturally diverse household, which led me to be exposed to traditional Russian art, so my work is a blend of Modern imagery with a classic and expressionist style, also I like working with illustration and graphic design. I came to America four and half years ago, when I married my American husband. While in Russia I worked in the world of finance. Not knowing the language, it was difficult to realize myself in a foreign country. I began to learn English in a community Southwestern College, but I was bored and I added art classes to my schedule. I enjoy art with a passion, and what you see is my work after two years of art class. I am passionate in my quest expand my art skills....
