I painted this picture while in my garden. This is an extraordinary pleasure to be in under the shadow the grapevine during the summer heat. A very pleasant green shade of grape leaves with sunlight reflecting above the garden table is relaxed and filed with a new energy of life.
I am Ella Boughton and I am a Russian. I grew up in a very culturally diverse household, which led me to be exposed to traditional Russian art, so my work is a blend of Modern imagery with a classic and expressionist style, also I like working with illustration and graphic design. I came to America four and half years ago, when I married my American husband. While in Russia I worked in the world of finance. Not knowing the language, it was difficult to realize myself in a foreign country. I began to learn English in a community Southwestern College, but I was bored and I added art classes to my schedule. I enjoy art with a passion, and what you see is my work after two years of art class. I am passionate in my quest expand my art skills....
